This is a local film produced by Dr. Leigh Anne Howard and Dr. Dave Black of the University of Southern Indiana. "Art for Science's Sake" is a fascinating exploration of John James Audubon's life and work, from his early days exploring the American wilderness to his groundbreaking illustrations of North American birds. Through interviews with experts, footage of Audubon's art, and demonstrations of how the illustrations were made, this film brings to life the story behind "The Birds of America."
