Audubon’s Bird Migration Walk | Saturday, April 29th, 2023, 9:00-10:30 a.m.

Join in today’s morning walk through John James Audubon State Park. A local birding expert will meet you at the Audubon Museum at 9:00 a.m. for this guided Bird Migration Walk. The park’s Beech-Maple forest is an urban oasis and birding hotspot for woodland songbirds, neo-tropical migrants, waterfowl and shorebirds. Expect to be afield about 1.5 hours. Hike route is hilly. Sturdy shoes are recommended and if you have binoculars, bring them along. Participation is free! Members of the Evansville Audubon Society’s Junior Birders will be assisting with this hike.
