Nature Programs
Walk on the Wild Side
These 60-minute interactive programs will help little ones ages 3-5 experience the joy and wonder of nature through play, creativity, and exploration. Each month’s theme includes various activities involving storybooks, crafts, live animal visits, pretend play, games, nature walks, and more! Parents attend with their child.

“Land, Water, and Air” Nature Camp
Summer is upon us! Join us at John James Audubon State Park to explore the elements of nature with our three-day “Land, Water, and Air” nature camp! Science experiments, nature activities, animal encounters, hikes, games, crafts and more! These 3-hour programs are geared for children 9-12 years old.

“Nature Detectives” Nature Camp
Break out your magnifying glasses because John James Audubon State Park’s Nature Detectives Summer Camp is sure to be a hit! Children 6-8 years old are invited to join us for three days of nature investigation and fun from 10:00 a.m. to noon on June 14th-16th! We’ll learn about animal tracks, sounds, and much more!

Art Programs
Advanced Arts, Ages 9-13
This class is designed for the serious artist ages 9-13. We will be working in various mediums along with acrylic on canvas. Dress for a mess. Students must have previous art experience. Supplies are included in the fee.

Art from the Heart, Ages 6-8
This class is geared towards the serious young artist who loves to be creative and work in any medium. We will be using watercolor, oil and soft pastels, Tempera, and more. Supplies are included in the fee.

Exploring the Arts, Ages 6-8
Students ages 6-8 will be exploring the arts by using different mediums and some mixed mediums such as Tempera, pastels, colored pencils, and more. If your child loves art, they will certainly enjoy this 3-day art camp at the Audubon Museum. Supplies are included in the fee.
Cost: $34 ($32 for Friends of Audubon members). Pre-registration is required; class size is limited.

Little Rembrandts Art, Ages 3-6
Bring those little artists ages 3-6 for a fun-filled morning of art! Let’s get creative with lines, shapes, and colors. Dress for a mess. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

Princess at the Castle
Students ages 6-8 will have a blast at the Princess at the Castle camp. They will start both days wearing a tiara and having non-stop fun doing princess-themed art projects, learning about reptiles, having fun with Bertha Bubbles, making chalk art, and learning about Lucy Audubon. Thursday, July 21st will be the Princess tea, where students will dress the part of a princess and enjoy the royal treatment.
