The Audubon Museum and Nature Center at John James Audubon State Park will change over to winter hours starting on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. On Monday and Tuesday, the museum will be closed to the public. Open hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Winter hours are scheduled to end on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
New Exhibit
On view through March 2023 is the new Audubon Arts photography exhibition, Within the Wild. This show features the work of six local photographers: April Cowan-Robinson, Diane Unelhor-Wunderlich, Ron Moore, Gene Stinson, Susan Tromley and Keith Gehlhausen. Each artist has captured images of the wilderness ranging from birds to landscapes. The show includes 60 photographs shot in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee, plus a few chosen pieces from each artist. The exhibit is FREE and available for viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
