Weddings at John James Audubon State Park include use of the Garden Area and Meeting Room – located in the lower level of the museum. The room’s capacity is 110 with tables and chairs, 216 chairs only. 8-foot banquet tables and/or 60" round tables will be provided for indoor use only. No linens provided.

A signing of an additional alcohol contract will be required for events including alcohol. If selling alcohol, a licensed and insured vendor must be used. No kegs allowed inside the museum.
Weddings can request a rehearsal in the garden prior to the ceremony date at no extra fee. Please schedule your rehearsal at the time of booking your wedding so the space can be reserved.
You are welcome to use the caterer of your choice. All catering must be insured with proof of insurance on file at the main office prior to the event. You may not self-cater. The meeting room includes a catering prep kitchen with a double sink, full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and prep tables.
All events must end by 10 p.m.
*Please keep in mind we are open to the general public from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday. During these hours there will be park visitors parking in the museum lot and walking to the museum to tour, shop, and enjoy.
The museum parking area holds 40 cars. All additional parking should be directed to the recreation area. It is the responsibility of the renter to set up signs or arrange for valet service.
*Please be aware the park is not equipped to be open after dark and does not have outdoor lighting for your guests as they return to their vehicles after your event. Flashlights and/or rental lights are advised for their safety.
