2020 has been a strange, unsettling year for most people. Our lives went from constant activity to a slow pace, offering a chance to think about what’s really important. In the new Audubon Arts exhibition, A World of Its Own, 2020, seven local artists – Bill Burton, Katie Lowing, Iris Gentry, Susie Rideout, Terry Rone, Cathe Hedgespeth, and Alan Hedgespeth – explore their feelings and emotions during 2020 in an array of different mediums and styles of paintings.
A World of Its Own, 2020 will run from November 12, 2020 through February 2021 at the Audubon Museum and Nature Center at John James Audubon State Park in Henderson, Kentucky. For more information about the exhibition and sales of artwork, please contact Kim McGrew-Liggett at [email protected] or (270) 826-2247 ext. 227.
