**The Audubon Museum lost the Sweet Sixteen round, but we encourage you to continue voting in the Archives Madness competition**
For the fifth year, the University of Southern Indiana (USI) is hosting an Archives Madness contest to crown the most popular historical item in the Evansville, Indiana area. The Audubon Museum and seven other libraries and museums have each put two of their most interesting objects in the competition. These items will go head-to-head through a series of public votes. The first round of Archives Madness voting starts on Monday, March 8th with the Sweet Sixteen bracket.

On Monday, March 8th, voting starts on the first round – Sweet Sixteen – and ends on Sunday, March 14th. We hope that you will vote for the Audubon Museum’s two items and help us continue on to the Elite 8!
Our Sweet Sixteen Competitors
The Audubon Museum’s Night Heron is competing against the Red Light District Complaint Letter from the USI Archives & Special Collections (UASC) in the Lucas Oil Stadium bracket.
The other item from the Audubon Museum’s collection – the Frank Nuderscher Painting of John James Audubon – is competing against Historic New Harmony’s Obituary of Robert Owen in the Mackey Arena bracket.
