The Audubon Museum at John James Audubon State Park joins more than 1,000 museums, galleries, libraries, archives, aquariums, zoos, and heritage sites around the world in taking part in the 2020 #AskACurator Day on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Museum consultant and MuseumNext founder Jim Richardson started this popular annual event in 2010 to inspire engagement between the general public and cultural institutions. Mar Dixon currently manages it. #AskACurator encourages people to ask curators and other experts questions about their work and the items in their care. They provide answers throughout the day on Twitter and other social media platforms.
Audubon Museum Curator Heidi Taylor-Caudill will be answering questions on Twitter from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CDT on September 16th. Follow the conversation and tweet us @JJAStatePark to submit your questions. Be sure to include the hashtag #AskACurator. We will post a compilation of questions and answers from #AskACurator Day on the Curator’s Blog later in the week.
Have you thought of something you’d like to ask, but you don’t use social media? No worries! You can always send your question directly to Heidi at 502-782-9716 or [email protected].
