The Audubon Museum and Nature Center at John James Audubon State Park will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27, 2020 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The museum will reopen at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 28.
New Exhibit
On view from November 12, 2020 through February 2021 is the new Audubon Arts exhibition, A World of Its Own, 2020. This show – which centers on 2020, a strange, unsettling year – features the work of seven local artists: Bill Burton, Katie Lowing, Iris Gentry, Susie Rideout, Terry Rone, Cathe Hedgespeth, and Alan Hedgespeth.
Hours and Admission
The Audubon Museum and Nature Center is currently open seven days a week, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed between 1:00-2:00 p.m. for midday disinfection and cleaning). Admission is free on Mondays. For the rest of the week, admission rates are: families (2 adults, 2 children), $15; adults (18+), $6; seniors (60+), $5; military members, $5; children/students (6-17 & with college ID), $4; children (5 under), free; Friends of Audubon members, free.
