Fabulous Fibers IV (August 19-November 28, 2021) will once again fill the upper and lower levels of the Audubon Museum with a vibrant 121-piece exhibit of innovative contemporary fiber art. This show displays the artistic creations of 17 textile artists from Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee who are members of the Studio Art Quilt Association (SAQA). Fabulous Fibers IV includes two special exhibits:
CoronArt 2020 – features 29 pieces of wall art (20″ x 20″) that explores how COVID-19 has affected the lives of SAQA Indiana members.
Collaboration 2021 – features 60 pieces of wall art (12″ x 12″) that were produced as team interpretations of “pass-it-on” art starting with a single photo.
The opening reception for Fabulous Fibers IV will take place on Thursday, August 19th, 2021 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Audubon Museum. It is free to the public and masks are required. For more information about the exhibit, contact Kim McGrew-Liggett at 502-782-9726 or [email protected].
