This is a silver goblet with a gold-washed interior and an ornate, flared base. The goblet has the following inscription etched on the surface: “To Robert Havell / from his Friend / J J A / 1834.” “9 oz” is etched on the underside of the goblet, alongside the stamps of the lion passant, leopard’s head, “T W,” “S,” and the profile of King George IV.
