“March Madness” ATTENTION ALL ARTISTS:
Exhibit dates: February 28 – April 8
Artist Reception and awards – March 15 from 5:00 – 6:15
JJA Museum
All Artists, please join us for the annual “March Madness”. This is an excellent opportunity for those extra pieces of art to exhibit and sell. Each artist may exhibit up to two pieces of art. Mediums accepted are: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, pen & ink and mixed media. ALL Tristate Artist are invited to participate and will be accepted if they have followed the guidelines below. Artist Reception and awards will be Thursday, March 15, from 5:00-6:15 with awards at 5:45.
Entry fee: $10 per person 1-2 entries
Drop off: February 14, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, or Feb 15, 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Artist Reception and awards: March 15 – 5:00 pm – 6:15 pm
Pick up: April 9, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Awards: Best of Show – $200
1st place – $100
2nd place – $75
3rd place – $50
4 – Honorable Mentions $25
Guidelines:
Artwork must be professionally ready to hang with wire on the back, clean glass and sturdy professional frame. No saw-tooth hangers
- 20% of sales goes to the museum
- If your piece was exhibited in the 2017 “March Madness” or another exhibit at the Audubon Museum in 2017, it will not be accepted
- No nudes or profanity
- Title card information should all be taped to the back of each piece before arrival
- (title of piece, medium, artist name, price, email and phone #)
- Show will be judged the week of February 20
- Entries due by Monday, February 13 at kim.mcgrew@ky.gov
