This is a set of five original prints from the first Royal Octavo edition of John James Audubon’s Birds of America, including plate 122 Parkman’s Wren, plate 190 Morton’s Finch, plate 239 Solitary Vireo or Greenlet, plate 329 Pectoral Sandpiper, and plate 459 Leach’s Petrel Forked-tailed Petrel.
A private collector donated these prints to the Friends of Audubon. All proceeds benefit fundraising efforts for the Unmatched Art, Unmatched Nature matching grant campaign.
